Already own a Reel Yaks kayak and want to fish with a partner? The Middle Section converts your solo kayak into a full tandem without buying a second boat. It clicks into place between your existing front and rear sections — same modular clip system, no tools required — and you're fishing with a partner on the same kayak you already own.

One kayak, two configurations. Fish solo Monday through Friday, add the middle section on the weekend and go tandem with your partner, friend, or kid. One purchase. Two completely different paddling experiences. The middle section stores the same way as the rest of your kayak — compactly, without a garage.

Designed for your existing Reel Yaks kayak. The Middle Section is built to the same rotomolded polyethylene standard as the rest of the range and uses the same proprietary modular clip system. It integrates seamlessly — no adapters, no modifications, no tools.

Expands capacity for two. The tandem configuration adds a second seat position and increases the overall capacity. Ideal for couples, parents fishing with kids, or any two-person adventure where you want one kayak to do the work of two.
