Ocean Kayak started in 1971 with an idea and an old surfboard. From then on, passion for fun on the water combined with a drive to create the world’s best sit-on-top kayaks has led us to design watercraft that embrace the spirit of ocean fun and adventure.

Today, Ocean Kayak is part of the Old Town brand of premium watercraft. Old Town Ocean Kayaks are designed and manufactured at our state-of-the-art facility in Old Town, Maine, USA. From our beloved tandem kayaks like the Malibu Two, to our innovative designs like the Malibu Pedal, Old Town Ocean Kayak continues to innovate and design our boats to inspire more people to get on the water and experience the great outdoors.
